4. The future of NFTs

Conceptually, NFT is old. It serves as a digital method that transfers and proves ownership for as long as there’s been commerce. The property could be online, like virtual land on some digital world or a special avatar of a online game. It might also be something real: actual merchandise, a painting or a seat at a concert. It might as well be some hybrid, like a voting right to decide who can access a backstage in a concert.

That’s no difference than almost any other technology. Vehicles replaced horses. Computers took over pencils, paper, books, face to face activity etc in every new era.
